Dfyre

I've learnt every thing i know from being hands on in this graff game, started as a toy as everyone does, and gradually made my way to what i am today. I use my surroundings as an influence to my graff. Eg. Lettering, tattoo flash etc. Shout outs to my crews, (RODSKWOD, ONC Crew, ART Crew and RC Klan) and my Christchurch influences, Doser (RODS, RC), Ikarus (DTR Crew) and jungle (DTR Crew).

HYFOR

Crew: A.R.T - Aerosol Realm Team
I got into the graffiti scene at intermediate, when I was 12 years old. The colours and big bold letters caught my eye. This made me think “What if that was my name?” So that day, I got sketching and watched Style Wars for the first time. Style Wars encouraged me more to get out there. I met some people doing a mural on a shop, after talking to them I became inspired to be seen in the public eye. I have been painting ever since.

My motto: You’ve got to do it for the love of it.

"My art is a reflection of my self and who I am. My style, approaches and techniques are constantly changing like myself good or bad. 'You can't fill a cup that is already full'. A philosophy I use when developing my art. A huge part of that philosophy is DISCOVERY, enjoying those steps into the dark confidently, accompanied by attitude, purpose, feelings, both physical, mental and most important spiritual. When in harmony with each other or not you begin to unlock arts hidden treasures and most important yourself."

LUST

I Love Graffiti Art for its honesty and bold lines. I currently work as an Art teacher, I have a great job where I get to do art all day. The students I have taught love graffiti, and that’s how I got into it. I have learnt so much working along side the ART Crew, they are all truly great artists and have been a huge support.
