Tattoo Competition

The competition will be a fabulous way for the public to showcase their ink! 
We have 12 different categories showcasing different styles.

1-9 categories include best Male/Female and Small/Large

1. Best Portrait/ Most Realistic
2. Best Black & Grey
3. Best Oriental 
4. Best Back or Chest
5. Best Old School
6. Best New Skool
7. Best Colour 
8. Best Traditional piece (Maori & Pacific Island influenced)
9. Best Movie/TV/Music Theme
10.Tattoo of the Day
11. Apprentice of the Year (within 2 years of apprenticeship) - portfolio must be accompanied with registration. 
12. Overall Winner (Judges choice for overall winner of the categories)

Competition Rules

- Tattoos must be completely healed!
- $10 entry per person, money goes to Hamilton North School Specialist Learning Centre.
- A single tattoo can only be entered in one category.
- Registration is open from 11am to 2pm on Sunday 26th Feb.
- To be eligible for the best tattoo of the day, the tattoo must be started and completed on that day at the Expo.
- The best of show will be chosen from all the category winners including the best of day and will be judged Sunday evening.

- There is a limit of 25 entries per category.

This is a great opportunity to support the arts throughout New Zealand.

Online registration is closed, registration can take place from 12-2 Sat/Sun of the show.
